Cloud computing has radically changed the technology architecture landscape. The hybrid cloud is now embedded in the minds of IT Leaders as the only approach to achieve Digital First success. However the increased complexity and decreased visibility associated with the hybrid environment have led to mixed reviews about the risks, evolving human factors such as skills gap and unclear responsibilities, as well as team’s capabilities to manage changing requirements. In partnership with IDC, Red Hat created an industry platform called Cloud Impact Council, recruiting C-suite executives in ASEAN to lead discussions on how business leaders in-region can better maximise the value of cloud through application modernization and digital transformation.
We had an open discussion on:
- Cloud adoption/migration – securing cloud and cost optimization benefits of cloud strategy.
- Tapping business value – building a common set of operating framework tools to standardize the plethora of cloud-based and cloud-caused challenges, so as to unleash the power of the cloud.
